The inter society 5-a-side competition will at Woking Leisure Centre on Jan 4th starting at 3.00.

December Quiz

So to the upcoming festivities, with the big fat bloke in a red outfit from Greenland making his rounds we face another Christmas ALREADY. Yes folks Plod has been trawling the depths of the barrels in New Scotland Yard in his search for ever more obscure trivia. Our annual Christmas Social and Quiz is upon us.

Trust me this is no ordinary pub stylee quiz, it calls for absolutely no brains, a degree in obscure information and some small amount of sports knowledge. But win or lose matters not its all about having beers, laughs and poking fun at each others lack of knowledge and judgement.

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t got a team we always have spare capacity for players, this is also a chance to get to know each other in a very informal setting. Cost of entry is £2.50 per person and we will have some light grub, not the kind you get on “Who’s a Celebrity get me out of here”. But if your dietary need is of that persuasion I am sure we can rustle up some worms for you

The event over the past few years has been a success and it is up to you, the members to keep it that way by your attendance. So pencil in your diaries now and confirm your team or attendance with Steve Briffitt or Steve Tyler, details in the inside front cover.
